House of Hope is a home for disabled homeless elderly. $5,000 a year for the rent of the house and $888.00/month for carers, food, security and water. Please remember us when you do your 2018 taxes we are 501c#3 and 100% of donations goes to our projects. $15,656.00 covers us for the year.
House of Hope is a safe house where the elderly are treated with dignity and respect. Everyone has a bed and mattress and we have taken walking aids so they are able to be more independent. Here’s some fun photos of them chilling out and napping on the garden bench and ‘who doesn’t love a cold coke on a hot day’?
My favorite photo is of Mr Captain reading his bible – actually he cannot see the words but pages through it and recites out loud the scriptures he remembers.
